Dear Steve,

I’ll send a response to the comments.

I feel that we are losing critical timing in order to set up this project with proper financing.

Please let me know if we can coordinate a meeting to discuss further with her lawyer.

Many thanks.

With kind regards,

Frida

perhaps accepting her attorney’s changes but consider keeping the main terms of the original option? Or perhaps arranging a Zoom or conference call with you and her and me and ? I would still so very much like to place this with you, and to find a way to make that happen.

All best,

Steve

Dear Frida,

Here is the email and mark-up from attorney. I will look forward to hearing back from you how you’d like to proceed.

All best,

collectively address the terms in more detail. The provision regarding back end is so off base, I suggest we address the other issues like price and term first.

Also please note that needs to reserve quite a few rights so she can proceed with her intended business goals of a podcast, Ted Talk, speaking engagements, and unscripted projects.

Most importantly, if a creative work based on her book (only) is to be made, she needs creative input and approval so her life and those of her family are not distorted for the sake of the project.

Since you do not seem to be well versed in this area, you may want to consider engaging an attorney to assist on your end. This agreement should not have been fast tracked in this way, it is not fair to as I’m sure you understand now.

Reserving all rights.
