Privacy and takedowns
Every document here is a public record. We still take down anything that exposes a private person, and we act on a request before we review it.
Request a removal or correction
Email privacy@epstein-index.org with the page address and what should change. We hide the page as soon as the request arrives, then review it.
What we publish
The documents come from the Justice Department, the House Oversight Committee, and federal courts. We convert the scans to text, give each document a plain name, and link every page to its original.
We do not build pages, lists, or search features around private individuals. The people pages cover public figures only.
When the government withdraws a file
If the Justice Department removes a document from its release, we remove it too. Its old address shows a standard "not found" page.
Machine-read text
The text on each page was read from scans by software, and document summaries are machine-written. Both can contain errors. The original PDF is always the authority.
