FBI NY CEHTTF conducted a multi-year investigation into Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein, the perpetrators of expansive schemes to commit sex trafficking, enticement, and transportation offenses against more than one hundred minor girls. Epstein and Maxwell committed these crimes over many years, between 1994 and 2004, during which they exploited their vast wealth and elevated social status to evade accountability. Following a month-long trial, Maxwell was convicted in December 2021 of counts relating to enticement, transportation, sex trafficking, and related conspiracy offenses. In June 2022, Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison. Epstein was charged with sex trafficking and conspiracy in July 2019; he died by suicide before trial.¶

Not a case but the NYO did develop agent involved shooting training in 2018, gathering agents who had been involved in AIS to talk about how to plan for AISs and the aftermath of AISs. The training was given to NK, NH, PH, BS and TP Divisions.¶
On that note, we haven’t had this training in NY on over 3 years.¶

Took down the entire leadership of a national gang, both jail and street leaders. Charged a murder of a juvenile and defendants included the founder of the gang and Casanova, the famous rap recording artist.¶
