During the 2005 PBPD investigation of Epstein, went with on interviews. was the lead handling the investigation, and would go as backup a lot just to be there with . was not part of any trash searches.

Other than the one supplement regarding the search that wrote, does not recall writing any reports or taking any notes.

participated in October 20, 2005 search of JE house, and went through the house with Det. . reviewed supplement reports by & to refresh his recollection of the search. recalls:
○ & went into main house to conduct search¶
○ Started in garage¶
○ Went through each room with fine tooth comb¶
○ Remembers seeing the phone message book that pointed out to him. Stands out in his mind because that was the type of evidence they were looking for – were trying to find documents like that. Doesn’t remember what was on the book or what it looked like.¶
o Detectives would point evidence out, then crime scene unit would put each item into evidence. Believes and were the CSU team that day. Believes videotaped, collected, logged evidence.¶
o Epstein’s house stands out in mind, recalls lots of photographs of young women.¶
O Believes reviewing photographs/videos would help refresh recollection and bring back more details.¶
