Respondent United States of America files the December 17, 2010 legal opinion of the Department of Justice, Office of Legal Counsel (OLC), entitled "The Availability of Crime Victims' Rights Under the Crime Victims' Rights Act of 2004," attached as Exhibit A, available at 2010 WL 6743535 (O.L.C.). The OLC opinion was made public on May 20, 2011.¶
The OLC opinion is entitled to "some deference," as it is a permissible construction of the statute. -v. Wiley, 208 F.3d 1314, 1319 (11i6 Cir. 2000).¶
