I will be making a longer =tatement about the slanderous and factually incorrect story in due course. I realize that some ASU =tudents may be shocked and dismayed and interested in some comment from me at this =ime. I appreciate the supportive statement from ASU and also the professional procedures that ASU applies to these issues. =nbsp;l can assure students that I have always worked hard throughout my career, inside and outside the University, to =uild and maintain an atmosphere of trust and respect in all of my =nteractions, and to create an environment where open communication is encouraged. I =lso encourage students and members of the general public to think critically and to use evidence as the basis of =aking decisions and policies. As many are already aware, Buzzfeed is not a reliable news source. Unsubstantiated allegations from =uch a source should be viewed skeptically.¶
