RE: Grand Jury 07-103(WPB), Disclosure of Grand Jury Material In Re: Operation Leap Year

Dear Judge Middlebrooks:

This office wishes to report to the court, consistent with Fed. R. Crim. P. 6(e)(3)(B), the disclosure to government personnel of grand jury material. The disclosure is deemed necessary by an attorney for the government to assist an attorney for the government in the enforcement of such attorney’s duty to enforce federal criminal law, as provided in Fed. R. Crim. P. 6(e)(3)(A)(ii).

The disclosure, of material of Federal Grand Jury 07-103(WPB), in regard to Investigative Matter, In Re: Operation Leap Year, has been and will be made to additional persons listed on the attached sheet. These persons have been advised of their obligation of secrecy under Fed. R. Crim. P. 6(e).

It is requested that the court direct that the letter and list be placed in the subject grand jury file, and that the court return a copy of the acknowledged letter and list in the enclosed envelope for maintenance in the files of this office.
