Thanks for the update. We have a new Detective ( ) assigned to the DBG case to help get it going again. Me and are still assigned but he will be taking point moving forward as we are still overrun with the Epstein investigation. We expect to have a meeting with the AUSA soon about next steps. We will keep you posted.¶

I have the OIA approval from EDNY (Drew Roll) for SHADES. They were comfortable with all OIA proposals except for the receipt/possession of CP (for the time being). Call if you would like details. It makes sense and this issue can be revisited if operationally relevant down the road. BTW, we do have approval to engage in discussion regarding sex trafficking, etc… C20 folks you know I am particularly sensitive to that and will always advocate for your equities.¶
I will submit the OIA up my chain of command here in INTEL. Once that is done, I will also start the request for authority to conduct consensual monitoring. Once we have approvals on both, we are ready to dip our toes in. Timeline here appears to be that we may launch him mid-November. We will obviously coord¶
