(U) Travel Records Regarding Jeffrey Epstein, Main Subject in a Child Sex Trafficking Investigation, Establishes Travel Pattern to Posture for an Arrest

(U) Executive Summary

(U//FOUO) FBI New York C-20 is investigating Jeffry Epstein as a main subject in child sex trafficking investigation based on FBI New York C-20 received information regarding several victims who were reportedly sexually abused by Jeffrey Epstein in the mid-2000s. Epstein owned four residences located in New York, Florida, the Virgin Islands, and New Mexico and was known to travel extensively via his own private accommodations. According to the allegations, Epstein invited minors into his residences, paid them to provide massages to him which turned sexual in nature, and wanted the minors to bring other minors to massage him (FBI 50D-NY-3027571, Serial 289 | 16 September 2019). FBI New York conducted extensive research on Epstein’s travel history and travel patterns in order to establish a pattern for his arrest.

(U//FOUO) Travel records was reviewed for Jeffrey Epstein between 7/1/2017 to 6/14/2019

6/14/2019, concluding on 7/6/2019, the day Epstein returned to the United States at Teterboro,

NJ from Paris, revealed travel patterns identified below, which assisted in forecasting Epstein’s

return to the United States and Epstein was subsequently arrest. As a result, Epstein was

arrested on 7/6/2019 after returning to the United States on his private plane.

○ (U//FOUO) According to TECS travel records matching the subject, of the last 50 documented travel records, Epstein flew to Palm Beach, Florida 8 times during, which were INBOUND to the United States from various locations (US Customs and Border Patrol | TECS | “Encounter Records of Jeffrey Epstein” | Retrieval date).

  • (U//FOUO) Of the 50 documented travel-records, Epstein flew to the INBOUND locations the following number of times:

○ (U//FOUO) Palm Beach, Florida: 8 times

U//FOUO) Paris, France identified as Epstein’s frequented travel destination secondary to where he resides. Epstein has established a regimented travel pattern from the United States to France on monthly basis for over a 12-month period. Based on Epstien’s travel patterns to Paris, France over the past two years and for dates surrounding his departure on 14 June it appears Epstein’s travel may mark his return to the United States shortly after the 4th of July.
