“I have completed the form in case it is required that I travel to Florida to receive the information. I continue to hope that arrangements for my participation via a video link will be possible. In speaking with , as I understood things, that was the plan. My organization ( ) is strongly discouraging travel at this time, due to COVID-19. It may be the case that others who are interested in participating are in a similar situation. I have very elderly parents and I have trying to remain as much “in a bubble” as possible to reduce any risk of transmission. All of my teaching at , for example, is via remote, video linkages. Cross-country travel for two days would, of course, create increased risk.

Thank you in advance for considering my request for video participation in the meeting. If it would be useful, I would be happy to contact our U.S. Attorney’s Office here in Utah to try and facilitate arrangements. I know our very capable U.S. Attorney, Jon Huber, and his staff of excellent attorneys and victim support personnel, and believe that they would be willing to try and facilitate whatever logistical arrangements need to be made.”

That is 6A.M. to 9A.M. in Los Angeles. Can’t they change the time to the afternoon to take into account victims in L.A. and Western states if victims here and in Western states can go to FBI offices here?

Have there been any decisions re using a secure line for victims who can’t go to an FBI office? What if victims are quarantining? What is being done for those who need to shelter in place?
