I’m going to check with a postal inspector I’m working with on another case to see if there are ways to get this electronically (without discussing particulars or mentioning this is for this case). I’ll let you know if he has any helpful tips – very much hope there’s a way to get this data that’s quicker and easier on you guys.¶
It cannot be emailed. All photocopied mail remains the property of USPS, cannot be copied and has to be returned once the mail cover is over.¶
We will be writing a report for everything we receive.¶

Can they email it rather than physically mailing it? Maybe that’s a dumb question but I think that’s literally an option for anyone who receives USPS mail, to get photos of their letters and packages emailed to them.¶
