Thanks. I’d be interested to know if the information turns out to be new to you; the assumption at our end previously has been that FBI will know it already given the US financial institutions/entities. However, it may be that the reporting is only being filed in the jurisdiction of the UK due to their legal obligations. If that’s the case I’ll get the UKFIU to put a marker on anything coming in to make sure nothing slips through the gaps.

Regards,

International Liaison Officer – Washington D.C.

Thank you for sending this to me. As always, we appreciate our partnership with your agency.

Thanks,

FinCEN should have this intel on as of today, marked up for onwards dissemination to your unit. Give me a shout if you can’t retrieve it. A search on ' and ' by FinCEN should do it. Our unique reference number is DP214135 but that might not mean anything in the US system.

Further to the below the intel will be pushed out via our UKFIU to FinCEN and is marked for your attention (rather than disseminated as an embassy letter). If you haven’t received it in a week or two from FinCEN give me a call and we’ll find out where it is in the system.
