The charged out evidence listed below is coming due within the next few days. Please confirm whether or not the evidence is still with OCME so that it can be recharged in Sentinel.¶
If you are no longer in possession of the item(s), please send an email with the updated chains of custody to All paperwork produced in Sentinel should contain a lead and be distributed to NY-OS58-EVID.¶

If the items are still in your possession, to avoid non-compliance you may do one of the following options:¶
1. Recharge the evidence yourself in Sentinel¶
○ Bring up the case the evidence is associated with¶
○ Navigate to the Evidence tab, then the specific item (1B)¶
O Click the Recharge Button (Select Recharge from the “Actions” drop-down on the right hand corner menu in Sentinel)¶

O If the item needs to be reset because it has been recharged 3 times – contact one of our ECTs to reset the recharge for you. You will need SSA concurrence if the item is a drug or valuable.¶
2. Physically bring your evidence to the Evidence Control Unit (ECU)¶
○ Located on the 27th Floor of 26 Federal Plaza¶
○ If charging in drug or valuable evidence, call for an appointment (Tuesdays and Thursdays)¶
○ Walk-in Hours: 8:15am – 5:00pm¶
