DOJ prosecutors' email exchange on creating clips from Maxwell deposition videos, May 2020

Email thread among SDNY prosecutors and staff about producing video clips from Ghislaine Maxwell's deposition in the Epstein investigation.Machine-written summary

Subject: RE: RE: Epstein project

Date: Tue, 26 May 2020 20:00:38 +0000

No worries. Got it, yeah, I was able to find the .mpg files as well, was just hoping someone had some luck with the application because it looks like that could make searching and splicing easier. No big deal if that won’t work. I have a feeling it won’t.

Hey sorry for the delayed response to this, I’ve been working through the files now – I think I’ve found the mpg files, will respond on the other email …

Also, sorry, have you had any success in viewing the videos? I’m having trouble opening the supplied application.

Sure, will do. One question. I’m not 100% sure there’s a folder on the shared that all of you have access to and that isn’t a “common” folder. Would it be alright if I did two identical folders? I.e. one for you guys on the Epstein shared, and one for exec on their shared?

has asked us to have video clips created from the deposition videos of Ghislaine Maxwell in connection with the Epstein investigation. There are approximately 11 question and answer sequences he’s interested in, and they’re listed on pages 19-28 of the attached word document. The page numbers referenced in that doc correspond to the two PDF transcripts also attached.

The videos are in the following folder, which you should have access to, and appear to be visible through a viewer program that was produced to us:

EFTA00104343

\Usa.doj.gov\cloud\NYS\StAndrews\Shared\USvEpstein-2018R01618\Investigation# 2018 SDNY investigation\Subpoena Returns
\2020-05-02, third subpoena response\Videos

If you could please include about 30 seconds before and after each of the relevant exchanges, that would be helpful to show the full context of the Q&As. And if you could please put the snippets in a folder that’s accessible to , and also include us on the link, that would be great.

Please let us know if any questions or issues, and thanks very much as always.
