Emails alerting prosecutors to a WSJ article on an Epstein charity, Sept. 2019

A defense attorney emails officials flagging an upcoming Wall Street Journal article reporting that a Jeffrey Epstein charity held accounts at Deutsche Bank.Machine-written summary

Today is not great on my end but we can chat now or around 1 p.m. if that works? Or we can cover this tomorrow when we meet. It isn’t urgent from our perspective.

Best,

Parvin

Apologies as I left you a babbling voicemail. I was reaching out to flag that Deutsche Bank has received information that there will be an article in tomorrow’s WSJ related to Epstein that will mention the Bank. Specifically, the article reports, among other things, that Epstein controlled a charity called Gratitude America and that the charity held accounts at the Bank. We will cover this in our proffer on Thursday but we are happy to provide information on this topic earlier if that would be helpful to you.

Best,

Parvin
