Ok – for what it’s worth, seemed committed to getting the support he needs, but I don’t know what’s actually happening on the ground.¶
The meeting with is actually about Epstein. If the agent issue comes up, I’ll handle – but it’s not the purpose of the meeting.¶
Just a quick note to let you know that we (me, the GC chiefs, and the HT coordinators) met with C-20’s SSA today to introduce ourselves and touch base about cases. It was basically a lovefest – they are happy with us and we are happy with them on the exploitation and trafficking cases. mentioned that he also met with recently about staffing up for Epstein, so that’s seems underway. And he said he thought you were meeting with tomorrow. Is that about the USAO agent issue? Let me know if you need anything from me in advance of that meeting. And I’m happy to give you more color on our meeting with , but it was generally very positive.¶
