U. S. Attorney Geoffrey S. Berman said: “We are pleased with Judge Richard M. Berman’s decision today to detain Jeffrey Epstein without bail pending his trial. Epstein’s alleged crimes of sex trafficking of young girls are horrific. Since these charges were announced last week, we have received many calls from his alleged victims and our investigation continues. I want to encourage others to come forward, so if you believe you are a victim of Jeffrey Epstein, at any location and at any time, please call: 1-800-Call FBI.”¶
