Email from an AUSA to defense counsel forwarding a Judge Nathan order in Maxwell case

Subject: Judge Nathan Order

Date: Wed, 21 Apr 2021 15:45:22 +0000

Attachments: 2020.07.23_Order_re_Local_Rule_23.1.pdf; SDNY_Local_Rules.pdf

Hi Jack,

Because United States v. Maxwell, 20 Cr. 330 (AJN) indictment has been expanded to include your client, the attached order previously issued by Judge Nathan in this case now applies to all attorneys who represent The Order reminds counsel for parties and witnesses to comply with SDNY Local Rule 23.1, which begins on page 94 of the second pdf attached to this email. Though I know you are already in compliance with the rule, I wanted to pass it along for your and your colleagues’ awareness. As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Thanks,

Assistant United States Attorney Southern District of New York
