Interview of Reid Weingarten¶
Senior Counsel to the Inspector General NM, U.S. Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General (OIG), Office of General Counsel, spoke with Attorney Reid Weingarten, Steptoe &Johnson LLP, Washington D.C. regarding deceased Federal Bureau of Prisons inmate Jeffrey Epstein. Attorney Weingarten stated that Epstein’s estate has invoked attorney client privilege and they are not willing to be interviewed by the OIG at this time.¶
