Here is my question. We think that one of the victims in New York has had contact with Epstein’s counsel, so the cat is probably out of the bag about our interest in New York. When Epstein signed the Non-Prosecution Agreement, we withdrew several subpoenas, including a subpoena of one of Epstein’s New York assistants, a subpoena for the computer equipment that Roy Black’s investigator removed from Epstein’s house, and subpoenas to Bear Stearns. Can I renew those subpoenas? Bear Stears is about to disappear into JP Morgan, we now believe may be a target, rather than a subject (obviously I would need to let her lawyer know that), and Epstein’s motion to quash the computer subpoena was never ruled upon by Judge Marra, who is on the duty wheel again this month.

Defense counsel will jump up and down and scream, but do we care anymore?
