Cordell Pitts – the defendant, a former New York City Department of Homeless Services police sergeant, is charged with assaulting an individual at a homeless shelter – before Judge Abrams (courtroom 1506, 40 Foley Square). ## PROCEEDINGS AND EVENTS 10:30 a.m. – Hearing in U.S. v. Jeffrey Epstein – the defendant, now deceased, was indicted in July 2019 in connection to sexually exploiting and abusing dozens of underage girls by enticing them to engage in sex acts with him in exchange for money.
