I have advised the Warden and he will be prepared to speak as to language issues in medical and mental health. However, due to the ongoing outside investigation, we have no new information as to the Epstein investigation. To our knowledge, the matter is still under review by FBI, OIG, and the USAO.

I also wanted to let you know personally before announcing it to the group that I have been selected as the incoming Deputy Regional Counsel for the Northeast Region in Philadelphia, PA, starting December 9. I have greatly enjoyed working with you and your staff and hope that I have been able to assist you when requested. I am sure my successor will continue to seek to work with all the stakeholders in doing what is best for both the general public and the inmate population.

One other thing that you may be able to address (although this is more minor than the other issues): how does the prison deal with prisoners who not speak English when they need to see a doctor?

There is some interest in hearing what is going on with the Epstein suicide investigation, but I suspect that is something the Warden cannot discuss.
