We certainly could re-request it from AmEx if that’s useful. The longer answer is, though, and with apologies for the slight delay this morning (confirming all this took a while), we actually already addressed this (or tried to) back in July 2019. When the .vsf files didn’t work, I contacted AmEx and they sent the below email: EFTA00084701 express.com/reader/4 American Express Comp... American Express Encrypte... ## Hi Alex, I am not sure why the .vsf file won’t open but I will send the documents through email. Again, the documents I provide are for investigative use and not for court proceedings. I am going to send a total of three emails including this one which will be the files from the AmexDrive that you were not able to access minus the below files. Did Yui Chow send you the documents listed below? If you don’t have the documents listed below, I will have to send them via USB drive since they are too large to send through email. To go through them, for the sake of a fully complete record, the following folder contains 11 of the 13 excel docs, with the exceptions of the first entry (the first Business Plum) and the fourth from the bottom (the “edited” centurion card): \\Usa.doj.gov\cloud\NYS\StAndrews\Shared\USvEpstein-2018R01618\Investigation\# 2018 SDNY investigation\Subpoena Returns\American Express (AMEX)\2019-07-12 (Friday 08.55) production (produced) To the extent we want to go back to AmEx to ask for them to email those two Excel files, we can do that. (Alternatively, is there anything wrong with just producing the .vsf file to defense counsel?? If it’s just similar to a .zip file, I imagine they have a better ability to open it than we do. I wouldn’t have an issue with that.) The .zip folder listed in that email has the following contents, all of which are also in the above folder: The final attachment is an Excel file titled “Key transactions.” I think it’s possible we didn’t include save that in the subpoena returns folder because it was analysis that AmEx did of particular people, rather than primary source documents that were responsive to the subpoena. But it’s attached here in case you guys think that should be produced nevertheless. Hey guys, Do either of you have Amex credentials? I’ve never downloaded anything from Amex, so I can’t log in to get the originals of this production. Will and I are working with Eric to try to get the files from this production open, and we need to try logging back on to this link to do so.
